On July 14, CCTEG Ecology Jining Rencheng Coal Mining Subsidence Area Comprehensive Treatment Project (Phase II) Gongqingtuan Road-Jidai Road Block Goaf Treatment Project successfully passed the post-construction quality inspection and evaluation report review and completion acceptance. Peng Suping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and a number of industry experts, Lei Huang, member of the Standing Committee of the CCTEG Party Committee and deputy general manager, and relevant leaders of Jining City and Rencheng District attended the meeting.

As an important coal-producing area, Jining Rencheng has long been affected by geological hazards such as goafs and surface subsidence, resulting in limited space for urban expansion and prominent shortcomings in the human settlement environment. As the country's first comprehensive management and utilization project of strip-type coal mining subsidence areas, it is a key measure for the in-depth cooperation between CCTEG and local governments to implement the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". It is also a landmark key project to break the bottleneck of urban development space. As the construction unit, Science and Technology Ecological Coal Kexinrong Company, on the basis of deepening and continuation of the "Chengcheng Model" in the first phase of the project, faced multiple challenges such as sensitive geology in the city, strict urban construction standards, and environmental protection construction constraints. The governance model continued to improve and upgrade. Relying on China Coal's technological advantages, it integrated a number of independent core technologies to transform the "urban scars" left over from history into high-quality development space for urban expansion and quality, and for people to live and work.

After reviewing the on-site data and questioning and commenting, the expert group unanimously believed that the project survey was accurate and the design was reasonable, which could meet the urban high-density development and high-rise building load-bearing requirements, and set a model for comprehensive management of coal mining subsidence areas. The post-construction quality inspection and evaluation report passed the review, and the project passed the completion acceptance.

The successful passing of the acceptance inspection of the second phase of the project marks another key achievement of the national demonstration project for comprehensive management of strip coal mining subsidence areas. The "Rencheng Model" technical system and operation model have been fully verified by authoritative experts. In the next step, CCTEG Ecology will strictly implement the rectification and optimization suggestions of the expert group, ensure the project completion and long-term monitoring and management, continue to accumulate a complete set of governance technology achievements, continue to expand the cooperation territory of central and local ecological governance, use scientific and technological innovation to solve the problems left over from the history of mining ecology, and contribute the power of coal science and technology central enterprises to the transformation and development of resource-based cities.
