During the critical period of striving to achieve the "14th Five-Year Plan" objectives and tackling annual targets, the new mine-used dry dust removal system independently developed by China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Taiyuan Research Institute (CCTEG Taiyuan Research Institute) has been fully deployed across more than 10 coal mines of Ningxia Coal Industry. The implementation of this system has not only significantly improved the underground working environment and effectively enhanced occupational health protection for workers but also marks the official entry of coal mine roadway dust control in Northwest China into a new stage of efficient and intelligent development.

Technological Breakthroughs Building an Efficient Dust Control System

The dust removal equipment deployed in this batch integrates multiple advanced technologies, demonstrating exceptional dust collection performance and intelligent features. It utilizes a mine-specific pleated plate filter fabric with explosion-proof and anti-static design, ensuring safe and stable operation in high-gas environments. Its capture efficiency for fine PM2.5-level dust exceeds 99%. Combined with a sequential pneumatic online cleaning system and a two-stage vapor-water separation system, it ensures continuous stable operation while extending the filter fabric's service life by over 30%. Furthermore, the steel-plastic composite air duct reduces weight while enhancing resistance to negative pressure. Customized pressurization solutions effectively address the common challenge of insufficient compressed air pressure underground, demonstrating excellent engineering adaptability.

Human-Centered Design Fortifying Occupational Health Defenses

Beyond improving dust removal efficiency, the equipment fully considers safety and ergonomic design. By applying damping vibration reduction and impedance composite sound absorption technology, operational noise is controlled below 85 dB(A). A comprehensive, full-process after-sales service system provides strong support for the smooth deployment and continuous optimization of the equipment.

Field Verification Showing Marked Improvement in Working Environment

On-site measured data fully validates the system's effectiveness. At the second haulage point of Maiduoshan Mine, dust concentration decreased significantly with a comprehensive dust removal efficiency reaching 92%, greatly improving the driver's operational visibility. At Hongshiwan Mine, dust concentration was reduced from 170 mg/m³ to within standard limits. During cutting operations at Meihuajing Mine, visibility increased to over 15 meters. A heading and bolting team leader noted, "After two hours of continuous operation, the equipment nameplate remains clearly legible, indicating a fundamental improvement in underground working conditions."

The full deployment of these 20 dust removal systems has not only effectively addressed the long-standing challenge of underground dust control for Ningxia Coal Industry but has also provided reliable technical equipment support for dust prevention and control in Northwest China's coal mines, setting an exemplary model for advancing intelligent mine construction and high-quality development.
