‍In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on quality work, conscientiously implement the group company’s work deployment requirements for building a quality enterprise, and further stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of employees to participate in quality improvement and innovation activities, on June 30, China Coal held an on-site presentation contest for the results of the 2026 QC group in Beijing.

Since the launch of this publication competition, it has received positive response and extensive participation from all units. A total of 49 QC group activity results have been recommended, covering multiple business fields such as production and manufacturing, equipment maintenance, process optimization, inspection and testing, etc. After a rigorous preliminary evaluation, 16 outstanding achievements from 14 units finally stood out and were shortlisted for this on-site presentation competition.

At the competition site, each QC team used PPT presentations combined with on-site explanations and physical displays to fully present the entire process of QC results from topic selection and project establishment to countermeasure formulation and implementation, to effect verification and consolidation improvement. Many results have achieved significant economic and social benefits in terms of quality and efficiency improvement, energy saving and consumption reduction, safety and environmental protection, etc. A review team of 5 internal and external quality experts made detailed comments on the project content, activity procedures, publication performance, unique features, promotion prospects, etc., and put forward improvement suggestions on further standardizing the application of quality tools and methods, strengthening data mining, etc. ‍

After fierce competition, the smart instrument QC team, inspection I QC team, vitality QC team, high-speed sealing team team, and Chengfeng QC team from Shanghai Research Institute, Chongqing Research Institute, Tianma Intelligent Control and other units stood out from 16 teams and will represent the group company in the 9th Central Enterprise QC Team Results Presentation Competition.

During the presentation competition, the group company also invited Mr. Wu Xie, the main drafter of the "Quality Management Group Activities Guidelines", to conduct special training, which provided professional guidance for each unit to carry out QC group activities in a more standardized and efficient manner.

This presentation competition is not only a concentrated display of results, but also an in-depth exchange of quality management concepts and methods. Each participating group learns from each other and complements each other during the competition, further enhancing the quality awareness and teamwork ability of all members. The group company will take this competition as an opportunity to continue to improve mass quality management activities, increase the promotion and application of outstanding results, and build a solid quality foundation for the group company to promote high-quality development.
