The two-compartment jig machine is mainly used for separation of easy-to-wash and medium-difficult-to-wash raw coal. Compared with the H.M. cyclone, it is simple in technological process, convenient in operation and maintenance, unnecessary to use the magnetic iron powder and easy to adjust product’s targets and constituents. Furthermore, the capital investment and production cost when using jigging coal preparation system are also much lower than those when using H.M. coal preparation system. While compared with the dry-cleaning system, it is high in separation accuracy and low both in lower limit of separation and in requirement for moisture and particle size of raw coal.
