The three-compartment jig machine is mainly used for separation of difficult-to-wash raw coal, its working principle is prolonging separation time of raw coal in the jig machine to obtain comparatively-good separation effect. Compared with the two-compartment jig machine, it could produce a kind of product inferior to clean coal, i.e. middlings.
